Starting your podcast

Starting a podcast is one of the most exciting things you can do and one of the best ways to channel your fandom, your passion, your experiences or yourself into a long-lasting digital format that can be accessed anywhere in the world on-demand.

We got the tools. We got the Talent!

you bring your voice, we do the rest

Just a few tips on creating a successful podcast.

Pick a topic:

Whether you love Star Wars, pop culture, movies, Magic: The Gathering, Stranger Things, horror movies, biking, running, inspiring, cooking, etc. you can create a podcast about anything. It can be as focused as one specific topic or as broad as an entire genre. Or it can be about everything in between. We suggest deciding on this before you come in.

Grab a friend:

Whether you want one co-host or 8, or if you've decided to go it alone, we have enough mics and table space for you. We recommend picking cohosts who will show up on a consistent basis and are as committed as you are to podcasting

pick a time and date that works for you:

The studio is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for you to come down and podcast in.

Have fun:

Our main focus at A Shared Universe is that you and your cohosts have an amazing time recording your conversation for the podcast world. In most cases you will find that your studio session will fly by. We want you to feel like you can't wait to come back and record again.

If you had to, with podcasting, you could hold court by yourself. You don’t even need talent. Everybody’s got one killer story. It doesn’t take talent to tell that story, it just takes experience. So I can sit down with anybody and create a show. It’s so broad, it’s open to everybody. The more you know about something obscure the better.
